LoveBosco - March 18, 2006 03:34 PM (GMT)
Meh...I CANT CHOICE ONLY ONE..THERES TOO MUCH DAT I LOVE!!!

kozzi - March 18, 2006 03:48 PM (GMT)
Hehe, I think I'm going to wait a bit before I vote , because I haven't watched all of ihis series. I know I know.. what a shame. I'm currently trying to go back and look for his series.

Right now though, I only watched LMS, WOIL, TITS and TLB. Out of those I think I like WOIL the most, just cause he and Myolie had such great chemistry. That was the series that got me liking Bosco in the first place.

I liked Bosco A LOT in LMS too, but I would've liked it better if Michael got together with Catherine. :P

So yes... WOIL... for now. Though I have a feeling UTCOL might be take its place when I finish watching it. hehe

P.S. LoveBosco, I editted the poll and added the English titles of the series to accomadate the English readers ^__^ Hope you don't mind.

lazziie_ut - April 15, 2006 06:34 AM (GMT)
although i like " Michael " in LMS alot but i voted for "WOIL" due to his breakthrought roles and that series made me love him alot !!!
if LMS focused on Michael , Catherine more , it would be the good one ... but too bad !! they didnt let them together and Love between Michael and Angel still gets me mad  i dont know how can Michael in love with Angel while He loved Catherine very much !!!! and tried to many ways to flirt her ...suddenly he turned 180 degree and acted like has never loved Catherine .....how suck is the scipt !!!
although Jessica is older than Bosco 10 years old.... they look vert match !!! do u agree ?

I COMPLETELY agree!

The script wasn't that great because he just stopped liking Catherine all of a sudden O___O Sigh.. I really wanted them to be together too!

SweetyPie - April 16, 2006 04:57 PM (GMT)
I do like a few of those series up there; but my favourite Bosco series is definitely WOIL!!!

Zoe - April 16, 2006 11:42 PM (GMT)

Hi sis Zoe ;), yeah he is so cute and nice in UTCOL :). He is more cuter in WOIL ;).

bee - April 18, 2006 12:36 AM (GMT)
i liked him in a lott!
but i would have to say WOIL and UTCOL! haha
his character was GREAT in both series =p

kozzi - April 18, 2006 01:15 AM (GMT)
I finally watched UTCOL, but I think I like him more in WOIL and LMS. I think it was because I had really high expectations of UTCOL after everyone hyped it up so much, so it didn't turn out as great as I expected it to be. Also, I think that series focuesed more on Niki and Kevin... and I have to admit, those two have great chemistry together :P

But Bosco's performance was still good, as usual ;) Just not as great as WOIL and LMS, imo heh.

qreek - April 23, 2006 05:15 PM (GMT)
To Love With No Regrets – After this series I started to like Bosco as an individual. He is just so cute, even though his character was quite annoying at times, it was still hard to resist him, EVEN with the goofy haircut

The Last Breakthrough – Sadly his role is pretty small, he couldn’t really shine with such little screentime. But this Bosco is definitely the Bosco that I love the most. He clearly liked Ching Ching, but never told her directly, on the other hand he helped her get together with another guy, and he was there for her when she needed support the most. It wasn’t an outstanding performance, but I will definitely remember Bosco as Tung Chi Sum.

Aqua Heroes – The first time I saw Bosco with a bigger role. His performance was okay good, better than the rest of the guys, and he was considered a newcomer back then. He gives the feeling of cheerfulness (is that even a word?) whenever he appeared on the screen as Louis. Very sweet guy who would do anything for the one he likes, but also very stupid and naive. Still, I rather look at his good side, and forget about the other. Another thing to add, great chemistry with Leila, but it still doesn’t beat his chemistry with … Leila in The Last Breakthrough (you thought it was with someone else didn’t you? :P).

Other series I have seen: Life Made Simple, Wong Fei Hung - Master of Kung Fu, Find The Light, Triumph in the Skies

Longer message than I expected :P Hopefully I didn't bore you guys :D

maimit - April 27, 2006 03:14 PM (GMT)
I haven't seen UTCOL but I saw some SC already, he's so cute in that serie.
And I like all his films but I vote for WOIL because simply, I love Boscolie, haha :D and I think WOIL is the best seccesful of him until now, he had many awards with this film

jo_lynn - April 27, 2006 05:55 PM (GMT)
I have watched all his serials already... I have posted the list of my favourite serials earlier in "Best Male Co-Star(s)". Here's my views:

QUOTE (jo_lynn @ Apr 28 2006, 01:41 AM)
Looks like some of you still have not finished watching all Bosco's serials... I recommend the following serials (listing my most favourite serial in descending order.)
  • 1. WOIL - I know many of you have already watched this serial, so you should know why I chose this as my first favourite.  :P

  • 2. LWOLAP - I like especially the earlier episodes when Bosco is learning martial arts with Power Chan and when they 闯荡江湖 together...

  • 3. TLB - This is a very meaningful serial. For Bosco's part, he is not only humourous but also fantastic! He tried to match Leila and Raymond together even though he also likes Leila.  :o

  • 4. LMS - I feel this is Bosco's best image among all his other shows, he looks so suave and charming; wealthy and drives a posh car... WOW! He's definitely the ultimate dream guy of every girl!  :D

  • 5. WFH - I like the parts when Bosco fights... The father-and-son relationship with John is also comfortable.  B)

  • 6. UTCOL - Some may wonder why list this show so far back... reason is b'cos in this serial, I ONLY like Bosco's part... In this serial, he's too perfect! Always thinking for others before himself, VERY FUNNY, gives people a sense of security cos he's skilled in takwando and towards the end... rich but without airs.  :D

  • 7. FTL - I love the scenes of Bosco and Tavia.... so sweet!  :P especially towards the end when Bosco started to like Tavia....  :)
Actually, Bosco acts well in all his serials... so it does not matter which one you prefer to watch first if you are only looking out for Bosco's parts... The above are my views for your reference.  :)

danisann - April 28, 2006 02:21 AM (GMT)
MY MOST FAVORITE BOSCO SERIES

1) WOIL (The best performance from Bosco so far, n the best chemistry with Myolie  )

2) UTCOL ( I don't really like the storyline actually, n hate the ending too, but I love Bosco's character n performance so much. He's sooooo cute n funny  . He's the only one who made the whole series shine. )

3) LMS ( How can anyone resist the charming Bosco here? He's such a perfect guy n every girl's Mr Right --- handsome, wealthy, romantic, caring.... B) Love his hairstyle! )

4) WFH ( Love his young WFH character --- brave and kind-hearted, but a little naive :P )

5) FTL ( Interesting character, especially towards the ending when he's doing an undercover mission. Sweet chemistry with Tavia  )

6) TLWNR ( Love the naughty n cute Dao Koon! :P )

MY LEAST FAVORITE BOSCO SERIES

1) TITS

2) TLB

( Don't be mistaken, I didn't mean I don't like Bosco in these series. I enjoyed watching him n he did a great job. But I just think he had such minor roles in both series. I prefer watching Bosco in the leading role :P )

Anyway, I think Bosco's perfect in every series he'd ever starred! :P

blueeberry - April 29, 2006 10:31 AM (GMT)
I loved Bosco the most in WOIL, whether it was the adorable ling mau chun or as the heroic but lau ming~~ and he not only looks good with Myolie, but they have great chemisty together!

But I also loved his character in UTCOL, Ah Lik was just so cute, you can't not like him.... he was caring, adorable and his sillyness never fails to crack me up
The series would NOT have been complete without him!

W.L. - May 3, 2006 09:13 PM (GMT)
Wow, so many people haven't seen FTL here!
Really, people, when you get a chance, check it out.

I first saw Bosco in WOIL. For obvious reasons, that's like the most popular thing out there that he's in but I think most people would agree that once you start looking at other series with Bosco, you start to like him as an actor in those series too. And FTL is no exception. That's one of the earlier shows he's filmed so his skills aren't as sharpened as they are in the more recent stuff but, as a new actor, I thought that was where his natural talent really shined. I mean, watching that, I thought, OK this guy's got acting potential, he's like the most interesting character in the whole show!!

After what you said in the other thread, I started watching FTL. I don't have too much time, since I have school, but I'll slowly finish it :)

Can't wait to finish it! =]

Awe, thanks kozzi!
Sniff...sniff.

Let me know if you like it.

I know most people really like WOIL (myself included)!!
But for my fav, I think I'd prefer FTL simply because I like the relationship he has with Tavia.
I don't know...I guess the relationship he had with Myolie was cute and funny but with Tavia it was more tender and romantic? But maybe that has a lot to do with the individual point of view and how much you feel for a particular set of characters versus another.

Hmm...actually, this looks like it belongs to the co-star thread, Ahhhhhh...wrong post, whoops!
But it's kinda somewhat related.

brisky - May 4, 2006 03:49 PM (GMT)
I like him in

1) WOIL - 2 personalities in a series, who doesn't want that? Plus Mao Chun is too good of a husband haha
2) WFH - so heroic yet also funny
3) FTL - charming and intelligent
4) LMS - dashing and also intelligent
5) UTCOL - cheerful and a very good friend :)

the others I don't know hehe

Miss Star - May 6, 2006 06:32 PM (GMT)
I liked Bosco in War of In Laws and Lethal Weapons of Love and Passion. He is so funny in LWOLAP lolz. B)

I enjoyed it a lot! I have to agree with you, their love was more tender and romantic. It's a lot more subtle and sweet to see Tavia do so much just to serve Bosco. Thanks for recommending it!

The only thing is, I wish Bosco didn't wear his glasses that often lol. Those weren't the best looking pair of specs =P

W.L. - May 8, 2006 01:39 PM (GMT)
Yaaaaaaaaay! Thanks, kozzi!
Made me feel better since FTL has been pretty under-rated in terms of popularity.

wodetianna - May 11, 2006 04:48 PM (GMT)
I like Bosco since Wong Fei Hung, even though I didn't like the series that much. But Bosco's performances in that series really rocked my heart. Then, I felt in love with him after watching Lethal Weapons. I just love his character so much, and he is the only character I paid attention to in that series.

Finally, Under the cannopy made me a true Bosco fan.. hehe.. long story

hehe you're one of the minority then, because I don't see War of In-Laws on your "list of series that made you a Bosco fan".

I can honestly say WOIL was the series that made over 75% of the people here Bosco fans. XD

hahaha lol Same as me! I also only watched Bosco's parts in LWOLAP, when it comes to Charray, it becomes real draggy and I always tend to fast forward the parts :laugh.gif What about WOIL? Did you watch this serial? I think this is one of the favourite serials among all Bosco fans...

wodetianna - May 11, 2006 05:09 PM (GMT)
haha, War of In Laws, yep.. I watched that one... I watched the first half twice, because that's my favorite part. The second half is little draggy. lol

W.L. - May 11, 2006 05:29 PM (GMT)
Totally agree with you there wodetianna.

The second part of WOIL got kinda weird. That's really how it came down a little in my rankings. I think a great deal of it has to do with the storyline. It was like they tried to make it longer and ran out of ideas or just forced the series to go in a particular direction to give it more drama when the main catch came from the comedy.

I actually didn't really like TVB's serial of Wong Fei Hung. Maybe it's because I saw that after WOIL and I heard WFH had pretty good reviews AND ratings. So I expected it to be pretty interesting. But I kept waiting and waiting for something to spice up in the series but there was nothing. Don't get me wrong, I think Bosco did a good job, as usual of course, but I felt that the story went no where and even though he was the main lead, the story didn't even really focus that much on his character! I think it would've been much better if they gave him more focus.

yap... I have the same thoughts too W.L.! Sometimes, I was thinking it seems like Wong Kei Ying looks more like the lead than Wong Fei Hong. However, I suppose TVB chose to put WFH as lead cos Bosco will attract more viewers :laugh.gif

kozzi - May 11, 2006 05:40 PM (GMT)
I agree with both of you. I was surprised how early in the series Myolie found out that "Mau Chun" was "But Lau Ming", so I kind of wondered what they will talk about later on.

However, having said that, WOIL is still near the top of my favourite Bosco series list. :P The chemistry with Myolie makes up for semi-dragging storyline near the end.

W.L. - May 11, 2006 09:44 PM (GMT)
Yeah, jo_lynn! Wong Kei Ying was like the hero in that series, which is OK. BUT WE WANT MORE BOSCO! And besides, I didn't like Rain Lee in that so no relationship = boring series.

Yup, kozzi, same thing I felt. Myolie's character uncovered Bosco's secret identity a little too early.

There was little tension after that and the "honeymoon" stage was too quick after she found out, with the story moving towards her aunt and everything. But yeah, I would also give a lot of credit to the series if just for the chemistry...SO CUTE!!

alicedang - May 14, 2006 09:09 PM (GMT)
wow alot of people picked WOIL. and of course being a fan of boscolie, i had to pick it. Bosco's role in WOIL was great being that he had to play two roles. it was also because of these two roles that landed him lead roles in a range of other upcoming series. and his chemistry with myolie was the best. they really suit each other well.
