~ "So that's why you wouldn't marry him." A man comes out, chuckling and shaking his head.

"You heard me?"

"Oh yes. I heard everything that I needed to hear. Silly girl. You love him. Are you really willing to marry someone else and break his heart now?"

"What do you mean, dad?" Myolie sniffs and calms down a little.

"Let me tell you something. When your mother and I married, I knew she had cancer. But I didn't care. I wanted to spend the rest of her days beside her. Lucky me, we had five wonderful years together and we had you. Those days were the happiest in my life. I never regretted it."

"So what you're saying is............"

"What I'm saying is, getting married will affect the rest of your life. You and Bosco love each other and that's what's important. I know Bosco won't regret it. While it's not too late yet, go set things right." With that, Myolie's dad gives her a pat on the shoulder and gets up.

"Dad? Can I ask you something? You never liked Bosco. Why are you telling me all these things now?"

"Because, I've been watching him. He reminded me of myself when I was your age. He really loves you." Myolie smiles at those words. She looks up at the starry sky.

"I will set things right. I will marry Bosco." The words that came out took the weight in her heart with it. She dries her face, takes a deep breath, and shouts. "I LOVE YOU BOSCO!!!" Then she runs into her house and shuts the door.
