~ Two weeks pass. Bosco's anger finally melts down as he realizes what has happened. He cries.
Another week later, Bosco decides to return to the US and this time, to stay. BUt he knows he can't leave until he apologizes to Myolie.
At Myolie's house, the two sit side by side out on her patio, looking at the shimmering ocean. Neither one of them knows what to say. Finally, Bosco breaks the silence.
"So you're really going to marry him?"
"What do you mean?"
"Myolie, Ron is not a good guy! He obviously has many other girlfriends. He can't give you happiness!"
"I know! I know." Myolie takes a deep breath. "But the important part is, I love him."
Upon hearing these words, Bosco feels the the wound in his heart throb. "Okay. So when's the wedding?"
"Next week, You sure you can't stay until after the wedding?"
"Nah. I'd rather leave. The buiness can't go on without me." Bosco pauses and looks at Myolie. "But we can still be friends."
Myolie smiles. Her first real smile since Bosco returned. "Yes. We can be just friends."
