Yesterday, Shirley Yeung, Bosco Wong and Kate Tsui attended the costume fitting of their new series, Sin Fong Ba Kai. In this series, Shirley’s character is a music talented girl, who cannot speak. So to portray this character, Shirley is learning the sign language and how to play the violin. At the function, Shirley showed the media some sign language signs. In ‘Always Ready’ Shirley played a disabled girl and now her new character is dumb, Shirley said, “Last time when portraying a disabled girl, I visited disabled people and spent time with them. Unfortunately, the ratings were not too satisfactory. I am a little bit disappointed.”

This is the first official TVB drama role Kate has accepted to play, making her quite nervous. Kate plays a pretty girl who has a split personality. When asked if her role will affect her real life, Kate pretended to the crazy and said, “I don’t understand!” When asked to comment on her rumors with Leon and Leon having a new girlfriend and if this has caused her to have a split personality, Kate said, “It is none of my business. When I accepted this role, I did not know about it.”

Bosco play a policeman in this drama. For this role, Bosco borrowed some antiques to look at. He will not bring the antiques to work while working on action series in case it gets broken. Bosco, who injured his foot, while working in the action series hopes that the injury will heal as soon as possible.

Bosco Wong Chung Chak, Sammul Chan Kin Fung, Shirley Yeung Si Kei, and Kate Tsui Tsi San were at the opening ceremony for new TVB series "Thousand Lies Various Schemes" yesterday.

Both Bosco and Sammul revealed that they bought shoes over the New Year holiday [which allegedly brings upon bad luck]; Bosco was scolded by his manager as a result.

Sammul lost his ID in Macau and was detained by authories, so he could not return to work in time. "I am filming 2 series simultaneously. Since I was late, I could not film scenes for my other series 'Trendy Lawyer.' In addition to impacting other actors' schedules, I have to rearrange a time to refilm the scenes. Maybe my bad luck is caused by the fact that I bought shoes over New Year's."

Sammul also revealed that when he went to eat dinner with his family, he had placed reservation for a table for 7 people. However when they arrived, they were given a table for 4 people. "It's not a matter whether we could sit comfortably or not, but the number 4 is bad luck." Sammul and his family decided to eat dinner at another restaurant instead. Sammul is afraid that his bad luck will stay with him for the whole year of the dog.

Bosco also bought shoes over the New Year holiday. Since he had a little free time the day after New Year's, he went shopping. He bought 2 pairs of shoes. When his manager saw that he bought shoes, she scolded him. Asked if Bosco truly believes if he will get bad luck as a result, he said, "It's better to believe it rather than not. My mother reminded me to not buy shoes; it is my fault for forgetting. Hopefully I will not have to suffer the whole year!"

As for Shirley, she collected a lot of red envelopes over the holiday. Her dog won some prizes at a promotion event. Shirley said that is a lucky start for the New Year! She has already visited her boyfriend, Gregory Lee's family's home. When does Shirley plan to get married? "I will have to think about it when I am 30 years old. In the new series, I will play a mute violinist, so I had to learn sign language and how to play the violin." Shirley mentioned that she plans to continue violin lessons afterwards.



Bosco Wong Chung Chak, Sammul Chan Kin Fung, and Shirley Yeung Si Kei were filming for "Thousand Lies Various Schemes." In the scene, Bosco and Sammul have a fist fight over a pregnant Kate Tsui Tsi San.

Bosco suspects that Sammul is a swindler intending to cheat Kate of her family wealth. Bosco and Sammul launch into an argument, which results in a fist fight.



Sammul Chan Kin Fung, Vivien Yeo Sau Wai, Ben Wong Chi Yin, and Kate Tsui Tsi San were filming new series, "Thousand Lies Various Schemes" in a garden yesterday.

This scene spoke of Sammul visiting Kate and Ben at the hospital. Sammul is an extreme villian in the series and used an evil plot to poison Kate and Ben, causing them to become comatose patients. However, Sammul still pretended that he was a good guy and visited Ben and Kate at the hospital.

In the past, Sammul portrayed many good characters so he saw "Thousand Lies Various Schemes" as a big challenge. "When I first read the script, I was hoping to change my normal image, giving the audience a new impression. But as I continued to act in this series, the character became more evil: poisoning people, killing people, etc."

"I am now worried as to what the audience will think of me when they watch the series! Also my character has many extreme emotional mood swings; he will smile in one scene and then suddenly become very moody.

"I am also filming 'Phoenix Quartet' at the same time. In 'Phoenix Quartet,' I raped Charmaine Sheh Si Man 3 times and I have a 'Brokeback relationship' [gay relationship] with Joe Ma Tak Chung. Portraying such characters have made me mentally strained!" After finishing "Thousand Lies Various Schemes" and "Phoenix Quartet," Sammul plans to rest for awhile.

As this is the first time that Kate Tsui is playing a comatose patient, she said, "It's a good thing to play an unconscious patient, as I can rest even during filming. The director told me to really fall asleep then the results will be more convincing."

lol i'm watching this at the moment! 2 bosco series per day! yay this is a good series...bosco's character is the brother or shirley's character! he really loves his sister..and takes care of her!! it is so cute how he likes kate's chracter! also, this series is exciting..coz it's part mystery!

the series is surprisingly very interesting..and bosco portrays a diff role in this..of coz i like his character in this series too..

I really enjoyed this series too! Bosco is so handsome and nice to his sister. It's so sweet how Shirely had a crush on him :love: I really enjoy how they became family, very unique and loving. I enjoyed every aspect of the series except one problem, which is Kate's acting. It seem like her eyes had no emotion, when she act; sad, angry, frightened, all look the same. I was so tempted to fastforward her part, but I can't do so, since majority of the time, she is on with Bosco. Hope she get better as the story continue.

Anyway, I love Bosco acting more and more with each of his series! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I'm really enjoying this series too! When i first watched it, I thought it would be a bit boring since I wasn't too keen on period drama. I was quite surprised when I started to get to epi 2 already. :P I love everyone in there. Shirley is cute and talented. Bosco is such a caring brother and of course, cute police ;). Looking forward to more POG =)

You know how Sammul always portrays the good guy in tv shows, watching this series made me giggle every time i saw him. I was like noooo, he isn't that bad, noooo, bosco and him are best friends...lol. I'm such an idiot sometimes. Bosco was amazing as usual in this series. I really liked his character in this one. So tough and manly and hunky dunky. :keke: :love:
