Finally, I have finished watching the 20 episodes series.

First of all, I must say that the following on of this series was very challenging. We have the Chinese New Year break that almost killed all of us than we have the Mandarin version running ahead of us. Comments and feedbacks especially for the ending part of this series were all over before we could see the Cantonese version.

After watching episode 20, my immediate reaction was it is so funny. It was something that I would never have expected. However, my thoughts were it was something that broke the traditional ending of any 'Swordsman' series. I like the ending, something very different from the norm, something very creative for this century and something very light-hearted.

The conclusion did not dictate who will 'Seng Feng' end up with thus allowing every audience to decide how they hope it to be....whoever, he end up with will always be the one he loves most....I guess it is just like us in real life, when we could not decide the choice that we wanted to make...we just need some more time....even to the extend of starting the relationship again to see how it develops...

So 'Seng Feng'...please take your time and choose the one that you really want to be with for the rest of your life.....and live happily ever after....

My first reaction was.... what the heck is this? :sweat2:

The ending was cute, I suppose, but I actually thought the series went downhill around episode 17-18...

Here's my beef:
1) Wayne Lai dies - how could they????

2) Randomly introducing some "killer" piano to save Sharon, only to kill her off later.

3) Sharon dying without me even noticing until they showed her grave with Kevin kneeling in front of it.

4) Everyone magically surviving all kinds of injuries/poison again and again.

5) Stupid random stuff when Kevin + Bosco were fighting off Eddy Ko in the end. Stuff like a flashback of them pretending to advertise some Kung Fu moves. I know it's supposed to be funny, but I just didn't feel like it fit the mood, nor Kevin's character.

6) The love triangle ending... are they implying that Bosco is two-timing? Cause it was clear that the child belonged to Bosco and Shirley.

In my opinion, I almost feel like the last two episodes were directed by a completely different person. The filming style, the tone, and even the script... felt different from the rest of the series.

Overall though, I really enjoyed the series up til the last 3 to 4 episodes. =]

I thought he ended up with Shirley towards the end? Since they already had a child.. I supposed he's just really good friends with Bernice in the end, and he was merely joking with his brother about him gonna meet up with Bernice. Thats my point of view though. I actually thought the part where they introduced the kungfu book was so hilarious . The ending was really funny too, with the dances and all that. At least its light-hearted and i enjoyed it. hahaha.

And now it has ended, gotta wait for another month before they release Heart Of Greed. Couldn;t wait.. I think Bosco's character in this series is gonna be very different right! hehehe :keke:

i found the ending kind of funny and weird. the flashback with bosco and kevin with the martial art book thing it sounded like they were advertising. but they didn't even show sharon dying all they showed was kevin kneeling on her grave. so the kid belongs to bosco and shirley. that kid was not even cute they should have found a much cuter kid. so i'm guessing bosco and shirley are together and bosco and bernice are good friends. also at the end where they sang the song it didn't look like shirley was singing or did i see wrong?

I loved the whole entire series until the last episode. Although the advertising was funny indeed, it kind of killed the suspense mood. And wasen't Sharon one of the main character? They showed nothing of Sharon's death except as everyone said, Kevin being in front of the tomestone. The last episode just gave me this statement in my mind: "Wtf just happened??"

i just fiinished the last episode 20 seconds ago, thought i'll comment on the ending , but all u guyz beat me to it. hahahahh
i absolutely LOVED the ending, so creative and different, especially the kung fu advertising part, totally dind't expect anything like that! and also the ending dance, not only was bosco cute as always, but he was UNBELIEVABLY cute! hahahha
defintely a better watch than his other drama set in china past with sharon chan (i fogot the name)

My thoughts exactly lol I mean, Bosco was undeniably adorable, but for random HK viewers, they wouldn't really appreciate it lol.

It was a good series really, up til the last couple of episodes. Sighz. They need an alternate ending.

jackietam: Really? I actually preferred the ending of LWOLAP than DD :( Bosco was cute and adorable in that ending too (when he rushed to the king to tell him not to marry Sharon), and it actually fits the rest of the series.

lol..maybe its bcuz i know wats gonna happen so i didnt have to same expression as u guyz..i find it not bad..it was quite funny and cutee..hahahahaah..i like happy ending and it makes me laugh..so..yaaa..i like it.. =)

I'm kinda mixed about the last episode as well. The kung fu was ok, but it did get a little too comical at the end. I can't believe this is the same producer for Heart of greed as well. Did he produce the ancient one with Niki and Moses as well? (I can't remember the name of that series.

but, I agree that Bosco was superduper cute and hot in this series. It did make Bosco seem like such a player to make a date with Bernice.

Still kinda sad that it has to end. And the lack of Bosco news lately doesn't help. Now I keep rewatching him in Dicey and Price of greed.

About the little boy who plays Bosco and Shirley's son, he's the same kid that wsa in Bosco and Linda's valentine promotion.

well the ending was funny. but it seemed weird to me as well. It was all mixed up and wasn't as clear as the ending of the other series'. It was just, missing something, wasn't as good for me.

and i didn't want sharon to die =( tht was like the saddest part of the ending. and i dont like endings with sad parts

the kid is bernice and shirleys, they brought the kid.
their both mums and bosco is dad. =)
but to be correct he chooses bernice as he will be having dinner with her tonight as it said.

ha? They adopted the boy? That boy was Shirley's child. When Bernice came out with the child, Bosco asked, where is the mum, and then Shirley came out? I thought he chose Shirley? As they are married.

so i just rewatched the ending lol...bosco asks where his son's mom is and then bernice comes out but later shirley comes out and said oh he was just bothering bernice jie jie to buy toys. so yeah he is with shirley. and then when bosco was thinking about the villian in the end shirley said remember now that you are with us you can't worry about the outside world and he said i know. so in conclusion he is with shirley but "dating" bernice on the side lol
