Synopsis
流落異鄉
甚有賭術天份的齊歡暢﹝歐陽震華飾﹞18歲便躋身世界撲克王大賽，而且被視為奪魁熱門。可惜，暢年少氣盛，在賽前關頭，受到對手喬正初﹝苗僑偉飾﹞的女朋友藍小茵﹝郭少芸飾﹞誘惑，一時意亂情迷，竟然遺失3歲的親弟齊歡樂﹝黃宗澤飾﹞。結果決賽時候，暢徬徨不安，賭不下去，賽事宣佈中止。初不費吹灰之力，重重打擊了暢。
暢自始沉淪，以賭麻醉，且交上「衰運」，逢賭必輸，結果惹上一屁股賭債，輾轉流落菲律賓，可幸，遇上熱心助人的周福榮﹝許紹雄飾﹞。

| Wandering Destitute Far From Home The talented gambling artist, Cheung (Bobby Au Yeung), entered a worldwide card playing tournament when he was 18 years old and was regarded as the favorite to win. However due to the follies of youth, Cheung was seduced by Yan (Florence Kwok), who was Chor’s (Michael Miu’s) girlfriend. Due to the distraction, Cheung also became separated from his 3 year old younger brother, Lok (Bosco Wong). In the finals tournament, Cheung could not concentrate on his game and lost the competition. Without using much effort, Chor was able to attack Cheung on multiple levels. Since his defeat, Cheung gambled compulsively to forget his pain. However, each time he gambled, he lost and accumulated massive debts. Cheung finally ended up destitute in the Philippines. Luckily he encountered Wing (Benz Hui) who helped Cheung to quit his gambling habit. Cheung was grateful for Wing’s help and turned over a new leaf. Due to Wing’s connection, Chor disregarded his past run-in with Cheung and gave him a job at the casino, allowing Cheung to pay off his gambling debts. Cheung, Wing, and Chor became good friends. Brothers Meet But Do Not Recognize Each Other Cheung returned to Hong Kong to look for his family members, where he encountered Wan (Jessica Hsuan) whom he had first met in the Philippines. Wan was anxious to pay off her gambling debts and therefore forcibly took Cheung’s money. Cheung was exasperated and did not know what to do with Wan. Cheung moves into a new apartment and his room mate was Foo (Bosco Wong), an autistic youth. After many difficulties, Cheung discovered his parents had passed away and vowed to locate his younger brother. Cheung never expected Foo was his brother. Unfortunately when Foo was separated from Cheung, Foo lost all memories of his parents and elder brother. The brothers met but did not recognize each other. Cheung discovered that Foo had a gift for gambling, displaying a photographic memory for all 52 cards in a deck. Cheung helped Foo find a job as a card dealer at Chor’s casino, hoping this would allow Foo to immerse into normal society. Gradually, Foo’s admiration for Chor grew, superceding his relationship with Cheung. Good Friends Break Off Cheung caught the eye of the casino owner and was promoted to Director without notifying Chor first. This aroused Chor’s jealousy and implanted a rift between the two friends. On the other hand, Chor fell in love with Wan, even losing his cool-headedness in concern over her safety. However, Chor fell into a trap set up by a con-artist ring and his reputation and finances were threatened. Chor was forced to collaborate with the con-artist ring to cheat against the casino. Cheung learned of Chor’s illicit actions and encouraged Chor to stop. However Chor was already involved too deep and treated Cheung's good intentions with antagonism. Supported by the con-artist ring, Chor set Cheung up and their friendship was forever broken. To advance his self interests, Chor taught Foo advanced gambling techniques, drawing Foo deeper into the gambling world. As an extra precaution, Chor bribed Foo’s love interest, Mei (Tavia Yeung) to control Foo. A Fight Between Two Challengers Falling on tough times, Wan continued to support Cheung. Getting along extremely well, Cheung fell in love with Wan. However Wan still harbored feelings for Chor. The family, love relationship, and career that once belonged to Cheung were all lost to Chor. In the process of promoting his self agenda, Chor was also implicated in Wing’s death. Cheung could no longer hold back his anger and vowed to challenge Chor at the gambling tables again. With Yan’s assistance, Cheung entered a gambling tournament. After 20 years since their last gambling tournament, the two challengers face off each other again; who will win? A Pledge to Fight Till Death Foo and Chor’s bond far exceeded Cheung’s imagination. Under Chor’s manipulation, Foo saw Cheung as his enemy rather than brother. wow that was a good episode! And i'm not saying this just because this is a bosco series (I mean, he didn't even appear in this episode)...
But overall, I was not disappointed! I love how there are random comedic moments sort of sprinkled into the plot haha. When Wing fell Bobby, and when the bottle smashed Bobby in the head. lol I couldn't help but lol.
Oh, and I didn't know Tavia plays a ditzy chick. lol

Yeah, I'm enjoying the series so far. Just finished epi 2. All the characters are quite refreshing, it had been so long since the last gamble series. Jessica is just nutty with her red underwear :grin: And Tavia can't contain herself when she start rambling :socute:
Can't wait for the next epi, since Bosco will finally appear. He does look really scary from the preview at the end of epi 2.

I just watched the first episode, and it quite good so far. Jessica is so funny when she is gamble, it is a diffrent role for her, Bobby is so funny too, hahaha it funny how Ben called Bobby "baby", it cracked me up lol...Tavia is pretty but she is a lil too tan ;), she speak funny. I cant wait to see Bosco appear, and hear the sub song by him too ;).

I just finished the episodes 1-4 in one sitting... OMG .... my heart was aching and my tears kept dripping at the end of 4... FuFu had such a tramatizing childhood :bawl: ... Jessica is the only person that cares for him... but now Bobby is beginning to empathize

yea..they do have some look alike parts...hehe both oso so MAN and 型.hahhaa though Bosco still have some boyish look (lol he's only 26 anyway) :keke:

I saw a clip on YouTube of episode 26 with the part where ah Fu declares that he's had a crush on Mimi ever since the first time he saw her. It was so sudden and the way that Bosco presented it was so... well, I don't know how to describe it.
But these are the type of Bosco performances that I love! He's not quite losing his temper, but he's speaking his mind and he's letting people know exactly what he's thinking and feeling.
If I were Tavia, I would have just melted. :blush: He was being so "man" and I love seeing scenes like that. lol

lol i have to agree with you..i like that part very much too..another part that i like is where they start to go out (when 小富富 wait for her with his new car)...the way they look at each other & communicate..just so cute & adorable!!

I love this series too much!! Not just coz bosco's in it...but the storyline, the cast...just EVERYTHING!! I've only seen episode #13!! :love: hmm...when does bosco's character know that bobby's character is his brother??

aww...does bosco's character turn evil?? i am only up to episode #16! and not much has happened yet...so i'm waiting!! Has anyone watched the whole series yet? or is it not released...coz i no the ending is airing in hk this week, but i was just wondering, if any1 has seen it earlier or something..?

Bosco doesnt really turn evil, but his hair is extremely hot when he somewhat does.=)
